Megan Brammer
Managing Client Strategist
AKA “Bubbly Brammer“
Having worked for both small and large institutions, Megan has vast range of admissions experience — from event management to recruitment strategy. In her previous positions, she contributed greatly to enrollment efforts by managing a team of recruitment counselors, as well as acting as the lead on many large-scale admissions events.
As a client strategist at Spark’s Virginia office, she works closely with our partner institutions on strategy and marketing efforts to help them achieve their overall recruitment goals. Megan holds a B.A. in communication studies from Christopher Newport University and an M.S.Ed in higher education from Old Dominion University. On the weekends, she enjoy spending time in the sun and sand at the beach with her family.
What do you enjoy most about your position at Spark451 and why?
Each one of our clients is unique, which makes every day different. From strategic brainstorming and creative discovery sessions all the way to the launch of a campaign, I find myself feeling rewarded as we push through the challenges as a team and, ultimately, witness the success of our clients.
What is the most memorable experience you’ve had at Spark451 thus far and why?
From driving through Portland on the hunt to find the best donuts to being introduced to a stranger in NYC as "this is Megan from Virginia," as we are stopped at a light, every time I've traveled with the team it has turned into an awesome adventure filled with laughter, even though there may have been a flat tire or a cancelled flight along the way.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given and why?
When my daughter was born (eight years ago) someone shared, "enjoy every minute, as the days will feel long but the years will go by very quickly." That advice could not be more accurate. I strive to hold onto that thought daily and remind myself to be present at all times and in everything I do.
When you aren’t busy being a Sparkler, what is something that you like to do and why?
Beside being a mom, I frequently visit my therapist, she bounces between two office locations, either Target or TJMaxx. Her advice is to always make some time for yourself daily, so I'll jam out with Cody on my Peloton (hit me up, #MeggyB219). When all else fails, I'll indulge in the latest Bravo reality series to stay grounded.
