As a Client Strategist, Christian leverages creative and innovative solutions to help his clients effectively reach their target audiences and exceed enrollment goals. During his tenure at Saint Peter’s University, Christian’s commitment to leveraging institutional data to implement targeted marketing campaigns resulted in a 21% increase in open house attendance and helped usher in the University’s largest class in 25 years.

Christian holds both a Bachelor of Music (New Jersey City University) and Master of Music (Mannes School of Music at The New School) in Classical Music Performance. Fun fact: he was born and raised in the same town as George R. R. Martin, famed Game of Thrones author who, sadly, still hasn’t finished writing the next installment…

What do you love most about working in higher education and why?

I have personally experienced the transformative power of a college education and firmly believe that it is the catalyst for my personal and professional growth. My college education provided upward mobility and opportunities that would otherwise have been impossible. As a first-generation student, I lacked the information, resources, and support required to discover which school was the best fit for me. This experience, coupled with my career in admissions, drives my ambitions to help connect institutions and students, ultimately turning dreams into reality.

What higher education/industry event do you enjoy most and why?

There are many fantastic events in the higher education industry that have enriched my life. However, NACAC is my absolute favorite! NACAC brings diverse education professionals from all over to network, learn, and collaborate. The informative programming provided me with learning opportunities that elevated my skill set and contributed to my success in admissions.

Beach vacation or city vacation and why?

City vacation, for sure! I love nature, especially any place with water, but cities provide a gateway into other cultures that directly inform my worldview. Oh, and eating local food during my travels is one of my greatest pleasures!

What is one super power you’d want to possess and why?

Teleportation. There are many people and places that I would love to see, and teleportation would make this possible without wasting time!
