This Iona College Gael is the go-to person for her clients, managing projects and coordinating tasks between departments to create a seamless workflow. Kristina thrives on productivity and the opportunity to connect with clients on a meaningful level. She’s always loved working with others and accomplishing goals—in fact, as an undergraduate, Kristina helped build a home and led a summer camp on an immersion trip to Lima, Peru.
How did you choose your profession?
Working with the Office of Admissions during college made me want to explore the world of higher education. I enjoy teaming up with collaborative and creative individuals, just like the ones at Spark!
What do you love most about working in higher education and why?
I love being able to provide value to students as they make the leap into higher education. The college decision-making process can be difficult, but providing help can have a real impact on a student.
Which decade do you love the most and why?
My favorite decade is the 80s. A lot of my favorite songs to listen to (and sing) are from the 80s.
When you aren’t busy being a Sparkler, what is something that you like to do and why?
Spending time with my Pomsky, Chandler! He likes to take me on long runs and helps me appreciate the little things in life.
