How did you choose your profession?
I’ve always found myself really interested in both highly analytical and creative initiatives. For a long time, I thought I had to choose one path and stick to it. Eventually, I figured out that marketing was the perfect marriage of the two.
What do you love most about working in higher education?
Higher ed holds so much potential — it’s all about allowing individuals to learn and grow in the way that they desire. I like being part of an industry that strives to make access to education more equitable and the workforce more diverse.
What is one super power you’d want to possess?
I would teleport. I love to travel — experiencing new cultures, eating new foods, seeing new sights — and to be able to snap my fingers and be anywhere I want to be sounds pretty awesome. Plus, imagine all of the saved travel time and expense!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to cook. In particular, I love to feed other people. Getting a bunch of my favorite people around a table and giving them home-cooked food is the greatest sign of love. My baking skills, on the other hand, are a work in progress.
