Magdalena Becker
Associate Account Executive
AKA “Benevolent Becker“
As an associate account executive, Magdalena works closely across teams to manage projects and help our partner colleges and universities achieve their marketing goals in a time-efficient fashion. Magdalena holds a bachelor’s from SUNY Old Westbury and a master’s from Hofstra University. She also has prior experience as a marketing intern for several higher education organizations.
What do you love most about working in higher education?
I love the opportunity to empower individuals to pursue their academic and professional goals. Contributing to the growth and development of students and universities is very rewarding.
How did you choose your profession?
Throughout my time in college, I had multiple marketing internships in different departments of my university, which gave me valuable insight into the various processes in higher education. Working in the public relations office and managing media reassured me that marketing is something I’m passionate about.
What do you do for fun?
I love baking and cooking from scratch in my free time. I also enjoy hiking and working out.
Beach vacation or city vacation?
Beach vacation! I think many people are disconnected from nature these days, and they don't realize how important and healing it truly is.
