How did you choose your profession/why?

When I was a freshman in college, I had no idea what profession I wanted to enter. I studied criminal justice for a semester, then decided to take one marketing class as an elective and that’s when I started to enjoy what I was learning. I decided to transfer to SBU, where I was able to earn my degree in business management with a minor in marketing. I never turned back!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given and why?

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given was, “What is meant for you won’t ever pass you!” This quote reminds me to never give up on my aspirations and the goals that I’ve set for myself. Rejections, failures, and mistakes will always be part of a journey. I will keep working hard and I will eventually get where I want to be in life. This quote is a push to never give up on myself and to keep my eyes on the prize!

When you aren’t busy being a Sparkler, what is something that you like to do and why?

When I’m not busy being a Sparkler, I enjoy working out. It clears my mind, reduces stress, and improves my overall well-being. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and grabbing food at local restaurants!
