What do you love most about working in higher education and why?

Working in higher education allows me to play a key role in one of the most transformative times in people’s lives. I still remember what a big influence university marketing had in deciding which university I wanted to attend. Being a part of this stepping stone for others is truly rewarding.

How did you choose your profession/why?

I decided to pursue marketing because the technological revolution of the 21st century plays such a big role in our everyday lives in how we get our information. Marketing allows me to combine these tools with my analytical and out-of-the-box thinking to create something beneficial for clients.

What is your favorite quote? Why?

“Love the life you live. Live the life you love.” It’s a quote from Bob Marley, which emphasizes the importance of merging passion and profession to lead a life of purpose.

When you aren’t busy being a Sparkler, what is something that you like to do and why?

I love to cook for the people I love! I also enjoy traveling anywhere that I can spend hours at the beach, because it’s so exciting to connect with the beauty of nature and disconnect from technology.
