Tina Diekmann
Senior Art Director
AKA “Dedicated Diekmann”
With more than 20 years of experience in conceptual design and art direction, Tina is a problem solver at her core. As a leader in the Spark451 creative department, she oversees the conceptualization and implementation of design solutions across a wide array of projects for our college and university partners.
A master communicator, Tina specializes in streamlining complex information and ideas through the use of typography, color, and layout for maximum impact. She also enjoys collaborating with photographers to plan photo shoots and develop visual assets that will support a college or university’s long-term goals.
Tina holds a BFA in visual communications from Syracuse University. Over the years, her work has been recognized in national industry award competitions.
Outside of the office, Tina is a devoted gardner and yoga instructor.
What do you enjoy most about your position at Spark451 and why?
As a designer, I love being creative. Creativity gives me the opportunity to make each day different.
How did you choose your profession/why?
I loved to draw at a young age. I knew I would always do something in design.
Which decade do you love the most and why?
The 90s—for the music, not the fashion!
Beach vacation or city vacation and why?
The beach is my place. Bring on the sun, sand, snacks, and a sudoku, and I can sit for hours.
